CleanAir Procedure for the Protection of Client Data
Policy Statement
CleanAir employees must treat all client process data, test data, and emission results as confidential information. We will not disclose client information to others without a signed directive by the client or a court injunction.
Core Requirements
· Never give, offer, or authorize the transmittal, directly or indirectly, any data collected or generated for a client to any other organization or person (including the EPA) without written approval from an authorized client representative.
· Never discuss the data or share an opinion about the data with a member of the media without written approval from an authorized client representative.
What to Watch Out For
Third party or EPA test observers can watch the test and look over your shoulder and copy every number - that is OK. But if they then want to make a photocopy of your data sheet, you must decline or request written client authorization.
